Existing tags on import page

Would it be possible to choose from existing tags on the RIS/BibTeX import page, in the same way as for other methods?

Also - RIS import just doesn't work for me. No error messages - I'm returned to my library page, where I find that the reference has not been imported.

Can you email the RIS file to support at citeulike dot org? I should be able to get it working for you.

That's OK - I ran it through bibutils to convert to BibTeX, which imports just fine. In fact I prefer to work with BibTeX, just curious as no RIS file that I've tried has ever imported.

Would you email it to me anyway? I'd like to fix the RIS import if it's broken.

Sure, it's on the way.

It's fixed now - mea culpa - the RIS import was cloned from the BibTeX import, and it was mistakenly requiring a key (KW) field. I've updated it also to pick up DOIs in the M1,M2 and M3 fields.

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
