X Abstract

An accurate signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) measurement is essential for cellular and satellite communication receivers for various purposes, including the demodulation algorithm adaptation to the time-varying channel conditions. In this paper, computationally simple SNR estimation methods, called the error vector magnitude (EVM) method and the minimum mean-square error estimation (MMSE) method are proposed. Analytic derivations as well as simulation results are presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed schemes

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
