Direct sequence spread spectrum code acquisition in mobile fading channel using matched filter with reference filtering

@inproceedings{citeulike:2802171, abstract = {Presents the performance evaluation of the matched filter with reference filtering detector for both the additive white Gaussian noise channel and the non-frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel. This detection scheme utilises a reference filter to estimate the noise variance at the output of the detecting matched filter. A definitive relation between the performance of the acquisition scheme and the ratio of Doppler frequency to chip rate is also derived.
