X Abstract

Presents the performance evaluation of the matched filter with reference filtering detector for both the additive white Gaussian noise channel and the non-frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel. This detection scheme utilises a reference filter to estimate the noise variance at the output of the detecting matched filter. A definitive relation between the performance of the acquisition scheme and the ratio of Doppler frequency to chip rate is also derived. The results obtained show the relationship between the system performance and design parameters such as received signal to noise ratio, full or partial code correlation and threshold values

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
